Community Guidelines & Policies

Effective Date: August 15, 2025

At Acid Horizon Research Commons, our aim is to foster a supportive, inclusive learning community where curiosity, respect, and collaboration guide the experience. We welcome participants from all backgrounds and encourage the exchange of ideas in a space that values diverse perspectives and shared inquiry. These policies exist to ensure that everyone can engage fully, fairly, and with clarity about how our courses, seminars, and lectures operate.

1) Refund Policy – Digital Courses, Seminars, or Lectures

Enrollment in AHRC offerings reserves your place in a small-group learning environment. Because spaces are limited and course recordings are provided, we generally do not offer refunds after the course begins.

- Full Refunds: Available up to 7 days before the first scheduled class meeting.
- Partial Refunds: If you cancel within 7 days of the first class, you may receive a 50% refund, provided you have not accessed any course materials.
- No Refunds: Once the course has started or course materials have been accessed.

If AHRC cancels a course, seminar, or lecture, you will receive a full refund or may choose to transfer your registration to another offering.

Transfers & Substitutions: If you cannot attend, you may request to transfer your registration to another course/seminar/lecture or substitute another participant up to 48 hours before the first session.

Contact: For refund or transfer requests, email acidhorizonresearchcommons@gmail.com with your order number and details.

2) Participation & Conduct

- All offerings are for personal, non-commercial educational use only; redistribution or sharing of materials is prohibited without written permission.
- Participants must engage respectfully in live sessions and discussion spaces.
- We may make reasonable changes to schedules, content, or instructors when necessary.
- Views expressed by instructors are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of AHRC.

3) Privacy & Data Use

- We collect only what’s needed to deliver your course/seminar/lecture (e.g., name, email, order details).
- Payments are processed securely by our e-commerce provider and payment processor(s).
- We do not sell personal data. Limited sharing occurs only as required to deliver services or comply with the law.

4) Delivery & Access

- Courses, seminars, and lectures are delivered via live online sessions and/or pre-recorded modules as listed on each course page.
- Recordings and materials remain permanently accessible to enrolled students.
- Accessibility accommodations (e.g., captions/transcripts) are available upon request where possible.

5) Support & Contact

Typical response time: within 2 business days.

6) Disclaimer

7) Learning Accommodations & Accessibility

Acid Horizon Research Commons is committed to providing an inclusive learning environment for all participants. If you have a disability or other circumstance that may affect your ability to fully engage with course activities or materials, please contact us at acidhorizonresearchcommons@gmail.com as early as possible.
